Pet surgery is scary. We know how nerve-wracking it can be to put our beloved pet under anesthesia.  

That’s why each of our pet patients receives an individualized plan for anesthesia to meet their specific needs and constant monitoring throughout the entire procedure by a Licensed Veterinary Technician. 

Putting a pet under anesthesia is just as serious – and scary – as if it were a family member, friend, or ourselves. At Dove Creek Animal Hospital we take every precaution to ensure that these procedures go smoothly and safely.
Just like with humans, there are a lot of moving parts, and our certified licensed staff takes expert care to monitor your pet’s vital signs every step of the way. We use smart technology to track your pet’s heart rate, respiration rate, oxygen saturation, blood pressure, EKG, and carbon dioxide concentrations before, during, and after surgery. 

While we can never promise an entirely risk-free procedure, we can guarantee that every precaution will be taken and that our decades of experience will guide your pet – and you – securely through the process.
