Essential oils are becoming more and more popular. While they can be beneficial to humans, they can cause serious health issues for our feline companions!
Some essential oils that are toxic to cats include: citrus oils, tea tree oils, peppermint oils, cinnamon oils, ylang ylang oils, pine oils and wintergreen oils.
The toxicity can cause increased salivation, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness and could even lead to coma and death.
It is a good idea to keep these oils away from your cats!
